Drive to Kibosho and visit of the spectacular catholic church, which is about 120 years old. The church originated from the German colonial era and is situated in the middle of banana plantations at about 1350 m height. Afterwards, you drive to the Materuni waterfall. On the way to this impressive waterfall next to the Kilimanjaro, which is about 70m high, you hike through thick, green rain forest along the Chagga fields and villages. You can enjoy your packed lunch at the nearby waterfall. Moreover, the waterfall offers the possibility for swimming. Afterwards, you visit the Chagga family, including a rare opportunity to participate in a tasting coffee.
