Tarangire NP + Serengeti NP + Lake Victoria + Ngorongoro Krater + Lake Manyara NP

Day 1:

Start at Arusha/Moshi. A drive of about three hours to the Tarangire National Park. After arrival, game drive within the area which has outstanding beauty including the famous baobab trees. The National Park accommodates the highest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti! You can observe elephant herds, which can reach a maximum number of up to 300 members. At around 4pm, drive to Karatu and overnight stay at the beautiful Endoro or Rhotia Valley Lodge.

Day 2:

After breakfast, game drive of about three hours into the Serengeti. With the entry into the Serengeti, your game drive within the probably most popular NP in Africa starts. With a bit of luck, you might be able to experience the great wildebeest and zebra migration. Overnight stay at the beautiful Lobo Lodge (incl. Pool), which is built into a rock wall.

Day 3:

Day Safari - game drive within the Serengeti. Thereby, you switch into the more central part of the park. Overnight stay in the lovely, perfectly situated Seronera Lodge.

Day 4:

Early start of game drive to one of the largest lakes of Africa, the breath taking Lake Victoria. Overnight stay in the Speke Bay lodge, which is situated next to the lake.

Day 5:

In the morning, boat trip on this huge lake with one of the traditional fishing boats. Thereby, you head to a little fishing village and are able to experience the way of life of the fisher men. After lunch, return to Serengeti Seronera Lodge.

Day 6:

Another game drive within the Serengeti. In the afternoon, you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater and stay in the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, which is directly located at the crater rim and which offers a beautiful view over the crater itself.

Day 7:

A paradise of animals is waiting for you! Game drive within the world famous crater which has a diameter of 20km. Around 4pm, drive out of the crater and to Karatu to the Endoro or Rhotia Valley lodge which are both situated in the primeval forest.

Day 8:

Short drive to the lake Manyara National Park. This small National Park is situated directly next to the African fracture zone and next to the lake Manyara and offers wildlife including elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, antelopes as well as the famous lions which sit in trees. Afterwards, at about 1pm, return to Protea Hotel or Meru Simba Lodge in Moshi.

Day 9:

Drive to the authentic Masai village „Olpopongi“. Here, you receive an extensive introduction into the life and culture of the Masai and experience a typical daily routine. You receive a traditional lunch, undertake a safari by foot across the Masai steppe, receive an insight into hunting techniques of the Masai and their unique traditional natural medicine. In the evening, return to Arusha/Moshi.
