Located in the middle of Arusha National Park, the old farm of Margarethe Trappe and Hardy Krüger is nowadays a highlight of Tanzania and run by German owners. Eight guest rooms and the lounge are decorated in the style of the seventies and include a fireplace and bathroom, which reflect the luxury lodge in the middle of natural wonders.

Run by the german Wolfgang Heep, this lodge is located on the idyllic park borders of the Arusha NP and offers guests a very calm atmosphere, much nature and splendid views on Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. With a bit of luck, you might be able to observe the wildlife of the park from your terrace. The spacious place with its many plants offers enough space for relaxation at the pool in the middle of chirping birds, chirring crickets and mountain ranges in the background – this can be called pure nature !
The rooms are lovingly decorated in country specific style and equipped with shower and toilet (the Mbega lodge offers bungalows with two sperated rooms for families) The meals are prepared by the chief cook and his team. Agreeable climate due to the height of approx. 1,400 m.
